Dark roasted sesame seeds are churned into a glossy butter, then folded through aromatic chilli oil, and finally stuffed with fried shallots, crunchy garlic, and toasted sesame seeds.

It’s thicker, roaster, and more cocooning than our other chilli crisps. The sesame gives it a deep nutty body and a satay like savouriness that clings happily to eggs, noodles, greens, tofu, chicken, congee and soups.

It has a rich Chinese flavour profile, so this versatile jar is deeply at home with Asian cuisines, but also sits well on Western food. With a super thick, spoonable texture, it’s full to the brim of crispy bits and a lil’ oil for drizzling.
