Sichuan Chilli Oil is our Chinese-style medium-hot chilli oil, made with bright Sichuan pepper on a bed of warm aromatic spices.

It has a bright ruby colour and rich toasted chilli heat, slowly building into a lip-numbing tingly buzz from floral Sichuan Pepper*.

Not as soft as Roasted Sesame Chilli Oil, not as clean and simple as Straight Up. This one has more prickle, more spice, more headiness.

Use it on noodles, dumplings, eggs, rice bowls, soup, greens, tofu, cucumber, roast veg, hot chips, fried chicken and anything that wants heat with a bit of electricity.

No crunch, no crispy bits, this pourable umami is ready to finish anything with a drizzle or cook with (try mapo tofu or stir-fried Sichuan potatoes!)
